The purposes of this Association shall be to promote the general welfare of the wood pallet and container manufacturing industry, to improve its services directly or otherwise to industry, to co-operate with officers of Government agencies in any program considered essential to national welfare - or otherwise to engage in any other lawful activities and enjoy all of the powers, rights, and privileges granted to or conferred upon, Associations of a similar character by the laws of Canada now or hereinafter in force, and the enumeration of the foregoing powers shall not be deemed to exclude any powers, rights or privileges so granted or conferred.
