Dear Alejandro Bermejo,

The answer to your question is probably that no one will import used (tin?) cans to be recycled in the US. The materials resale value after recycling will not stand the transportation costs and other expenses. My guess is that the only way to export them would be to a more local recycler in Central America, Mexico, or the Caribbean. Or, building a recycling plant in Guatemala. Here are the means of contacting some metal recyclers (who I expect will tell you the same thing):

Daytona Salvage Co, 3rd St. RR- Holly Hill
PO Box 2053
Dayton Beach, FL 32015
Tel: 904-255-1453

Lacaridad Junk Yard
7363 NW 30th Ave.
Miami, FL 33147
Tel: 305-691-8495

Tampa Scrap Processors
4050 Maritime Blvd.
Tampa, FL 33605
Tel: 813-248-5170
