Yes, it is both recyclable and compostable. You can compost it yourself in conjunction with other more common materials. Finding a recycler will depend upon where you live, but here are some recyclers we know of at the Research Library for RCRA of EPA-New England:

New West Gypsum, British Columbia, Toronto, Canada Seattle, WA
Energy Reclamation, Inc., Portland, OR
Domtar, Newington, NH
Jet-A-Way, Boston, MA
