Dear Craig Coker,

I ve searched the waste management literature at the Research Library and have not found a good enough description of what the materials characteristics at the end of their life, constitutes electronic cable wire. There are several Office of Research Development studies of how to prevent pollution in the manufacture of similar products, but not a good description of waste management techniques for this product. Lacking an analogy, I must report failure.
Common sense would suggest to me that mechanical means of separating the substances in the product will be employed before any of the techniques that you suggested. I don t think that cryogenics would work here or be cost effective, for example.
Sometimes, questions are ahead of the R D literature in waste management. This may be one of those times. Sorry.
