Dear Kelli Rogers,

CD Roms and other software are recyclable and they are increasingly finding market niches. However, directories on the subject of all electronics recycling go out of date faster than the technologies, so what I m about to suggest, may be out of date already:

Some recyclers of software, at one point including CDs include:

Media Recovery, Inc, Canton, MA
Green Disk, Inc, Redmond, WAPlastic Recycling Inc, 2015 s. Pennsylvania, Indianapolis, IN 46225 definitely is recycling CD Roms as of 12/96. Telephone# is 317-780-6100
There is a company that repairs them, though I m not sure if they recycle them as well called AuralTech CD Refinishing which is attached to the previous mentioned Plastic Recycling, Inc.
