Dear Steve Emerson

I m uncertain what source you are using and how reputable that is. The only company that I have heard of using old shoes/sneakers for new products is called Deja Shoe but I believe that they are no longer in business, or no longer in the same business. However, there is at least one other company listed in a directory which uses recovered vinyl, which might come from sneakers, to athletic surfaces. That is Oscoda Plastics, Inc. of Oscod, MI, tel: 517-739-6900.
I suspect, however, that both of these are wrong. Should I find anything by more extensive research, I ll post a second reply.
