Concrete is recycled by aggregate producers and also tends to be recycled by firms which also recycle asphalt. There are stationary as well as portable plants. The stuff is crushed, usually by Jaws or impactors. Waste rebar, raod builders, urban construction builders use recycled concrete. Recycled concrete is selling for about $8/ton as of the end of Summer, 1997.

Who recycles concrete?

Jet A Way, Roxbury, Mass recycles concrete.
Heffron Materials, Wilmington, MA recycles concrete
Coventry Sand Gravel, Coventry, RI recycles concrete
Commercial Recycling Systems, Scarborough, ME does too.

If you can find any C D Recycling directory, you can find concrete recyclers listed.
