Dear Faye Tipton,

There is a new collection infrastructure for all household batteries, set up by a Federal Act of 1996. Coordinated by the Rechargeable Battery RecyclingCorporation, all nickel cadmium and some other batteries now have a relatively easy collection infrastructure in palce all over the US.
