Dear Steve,
For pre-literate children, the best resources in teaching about or teaching recycling are
- a videotape called Mr. Rogers Neighborhood #1617: The Environment and Recycling which is distributed by Family Communications, Pittsburgh at 412-687-2990.
- the K-3 activities of AVR Teacher's Resource Guide for Solid Waste and Recycling Education by the Assn. of Vermont Recyclers, PO Box 1244, Monpelier, VT 05602.
- the most recent edition of the curriculum A-Way With Waste by the Washington State Dept. of Ecology, whose contact address some years ago was:
4350 150th St., NE, Redmond, WA 98052.
And, yes, there are many more.
