Dear Andrew Galambos,

The easiest ways to deal with styrofoam trays are either to find a local recycler of styrofoam and let them process the trays, or to ask your supplier to omit the trays when shipping the product.

I'm aware of but a few Long Island companies but the NY DEC should know of more. Some of the ones I know to process polystyrene are:

Gianco Ltd, 516-842-8800.

Debco Plastics, Inc, 14 Maple Place, Freeport, NY 11520
