Dear Kelly,
What you are describing accounts for about 5% of textiles recycled . Most recycling is really reuse or reuse overseas.
Most domestic reprocessing is for industrial wipers, not for new clothing.
An example of a firm that does this very small subset of textile reuse/recycling that might include jeans is:
Crispina Designs, Housatonic, MA, 413-274-0000
another person who you might get a referral from is Laur Kerrison, Carolina Textile Recycling in SC, 803-538-8644.
