Dear Mike Watkins,

The best way to recycle preconsumer waste automotive carpet is in your own manufacturing operation; a pollution prevention engineer is what this will require, and you can find one of these through the regional office of US EPA (I have no idea where you are located).

However,to answer your question, some carpet recyclers include:

Allied Signal, Richmond, VA
Collins Aikman, Dalton, GA
Interface Flooring, Atlanta,GA (may be out of business)
BASF, Dalton, GA
United Recycling, Inc, St. Paul, MN
Image Industries, Summerville, GA (postconsumer mainly)
