Landfill alternative daily cover deployer .
For sale- EPI Enviro-cover Model 700 deployer for alternative daily cover (ADC) at landfills. This machine can help meet environmental requirements for daily cover at smaller or medium sized landfills without using up valuable airspace with cover dirt. Designed to be carried on the blade of a crawler (Cat D7 or similar) or landfill compaction unit (Cat 826 or similar), the unit deploys film from a 20’ wide roll while simultaneously depositing ballast material in rows at center and edges of roll. Sawdust or surplus mulch from a clean wood processing operation make excellent ballast for this application- sand, gravel, or any other 2” minus granular material which is available can also be used as ballast. Rows can be overlapped slightly to ensure 100% coverage. Hydraulic functions are run by a dedicated pump onboard the unit, powered by small Kubota diesel engine (about 530 hours on that), so no modifications need to be made, or wet-lines run from the motive power unit you are attaching to, and the deployer could be used interchangeably on various different units and could be easily trucked to different sites as needed.
