Mixed Metal For Sale- 8699. .
180,000 lbs(apprx) Mixed Metal unprepared scrap. Scrap may include galvanized steel, wall lockers, filing cabinets, chairs, tables, desks, duct, machine tool parts, solids, rings, forms and shapes, insulated copper wire with other ferrous and non-ferrous attachments and foreign materials. Period of performance is 6 months. Buyer must provide (1) 30 yard roll-off container to be left on site for loading. Full container must be removed within 3 working days of notification and replaced with an empty container. A certified weight ticket will need to be faxed to the GL site manager within 24 hours of pick up. Scale on the base is to be used to weigh in empty and out full. Buyers scale is not to be used in any case. All scrap under this contract requires mutilation by the buyer prior to removal if allowed by the installation or mutilation must be witnessed and certified by DOD Surplus personnel at another facility. Title to the material does not pass to the buyer until the scrap has been mutilated. Buyer agrees to allow USG personnel to witness destruction.
