Scrap Xray Film.
Trust you are well. We have around 50 tonne of X-Ray and 50 tonne of Laser Film to sell currently. All Silver based. We have being processing this material for many many years that when granulated is placed into tanks via a chemical process which drops out the silver into a solution that we plate out into Pure Silver Flakes and have a clean washed granulated plastic to sell. While intake has being falling for the last 10 years, we closed our Sydney plant and did all processing in Melbourne, but still used to average around 60 tonne per month. It has now got to a point where we only get around 20 tonne per month so we are just going to trade X-Ray and Film we get in and have closed the Melbourne plant. The Chinese have come in and quoted $1.15 per kilo for the Laser and $2.65 per kilo for the X-Ray which in my view is low. We have it now in woolsacks (see photos attached) all clean and out of the envelopes ready to load into 40 foot boxes.
