What is a Webinar?
EMA hosts an ongoing series of web seminars, webinars that cover special interest topics, breaking news and new regulations/legislations. Through this format, EMA keeps you informed from the comfort of your own office. We also work with Ministry of the Environment’s Green Industry Office (GIO) and the export arm of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade on Virtual Trade Missions (VTMs). Attendance in-person is available for most Webinars. On-site spaces are always limited, so early registration is advised.
Global Emission Systems (GESi™)
Global Emission Systems is a Canadian company specializing in the development, design, and manufacturing of emissions control technology for Government and Industry. At the heart of the company is innovative research, testing, and analysis of various harmful pollutants that plague our planet. With the adoption of Gesi products, any organization can be assured of the very best technology available today.
GESi™ is the owner of an advanced Emission Reduction System called Dry Selective Catalyst™ (DSC)™ technology that has distinct advantages over other systems currently deployed to reduce emissions from the combustion of various fuels. The DSC™ technology effectively reduces up to 100% of the Carbon Monoxide (CO), Hydrocarbon (HC), and Nitrous Oxides (NOx) from fossil fuel combustion engines. Unlike other technologies, GESi™ technology is recyclable and does not create additional toxic emissions to the environment.
Successful entrepreneurs may build great companies but very few achieve greatness developing a technology that will forever benefit mankind. GESi™ presents an opportunity for our children and future generations to breathe less pollutants by reducing emissions of fossil fuel burning engines.

City of Vaughan: Frank Miele
City of Vaughan, the city above Toronto, is taking the initiative in leading municipalities in the quest for cleaner air. To augment their no-idling bylaw they have adopted a new technology that virtually eliminates the hazardous gases spewing from engine exhaust pipes. The solution developed by Global Emission Systems Inc. (GESi) is called the Dry Selective Catalyst™ or DSC™. By replacing the stock catalytic converter with a GESi unit it has shown that it can reduce carbon monoxide (CO) emissions up to 100% and nitric oxide “NOx” and hydrocarbons by as much as 100% on most reciprocating engines. Both are the primary contributors to smog. Today’s conventional catalytic converters typically remove only 60 to 65% leaving the rest up to the engine electronics and fuel injection system. Poorly maintained cars pollute our air.
